The challenge

  • Long processing times, unnecessary communication effort between product manager, agency and media service provider and high potential for errors during catalog planning and production?

  • The contents of a product catalog can be planned, agreed and prepared online

  • First various layout templates with product placeholders for the individual pages are prepared in Adobe InDesign

  • Once enough templates for the catalog have been prepared, the catalog is compiled in the system as per the content structure

  • The authorized web user fills the product placeholders on the catalog pages with new items, or allocates new layout templates to the individual pages

  • With the template system it is also possible to edit the templates without graphics know-how, the CI is retained

  • Different catalog versions (with/without game, different formats) can therefore be produced quickly to suit the target groups
