UBS selects “On Demand” Catalog management service from Heiler Software
Stuttgart, December 20, 2005 --- UBS , a leading global banking institution, uses products and services supplied by Heiler Software for catalog & content management. With its “On Demand” Catalog management service, Heiler ensures that its product lines Heiler PBC Premium Business Catalog, PCM Premium Content Manager and PSX Premium Supplier Exchange can be provided as a service rather than enterprise software.About 26,000 employees in Switzerland are able to view the multi-vendor catalog, and 4,300 employees can use it to place orders. The catalog is integrated in the existing SAP system environment with the SAP Enterprise Buyer Professional (SAP EBP) purchasing portal. Suppliers and UBS supply managers can load their own original catalogs and catalog updates. The daily import of UBS's own SAP item data and of the warehouse provider's item data is updated seamlessly. In the case of inventoried goods, display of inventory is continuously up-to-date. In addition, online data updates and online availability checks are performed both in the catalog and in the shopping cart (EBP).
