RWE Systems AG commits to the Heiler Premium Business Catalog

The powerful electronic catalog system, certified SAP integration and catalog content services proposed by Heiler Software AG convinced RWE that theirs was the best solution.

Stuttgart, 26 March 2001. Heiler Software AG's Premium Business Catalog will constitute a central component in the e-procurement process flow of RWE Systems AG. Their requirement is for a web-based catalog solution which brings lasting value to the e-procurement process flow by helping to reduce process costs and hence to create synergies in the entire value added chain. Following successful implementation, the software is rolling out to several management companies in the RWE Group. In addition to this implementation, Heiler Software AG is also providing other services such as content management.

Having concluded a full selection procedure, RWE Systems AG has decided to implement the electronic catalog system produced by Heiler Software AG. "The Heiler Premium Business Catalog offers us an excellent basis for an efficient search engine as well as integration into the SAP BBP system," says Rainer Laures, Purchasing/Materials Management, Head of Systems at RWE Systems AG. As well as implementation of the Heiler Premium Business Catalog (PBC) and integration into the SAP Business-to-Business Procurement system (BBP), Heiler Software AG is also providing some other content management-related services so as to ensure that supplier integration proceeds smoothly. These services include enabling in the BMEcat format and a complete service in the area of content for suppliers.
