Lechler relies on Heiler Software

Detroit/ Stuttgart, March 1st 2010 - Heiler Software, together with dmc digital media center as implementation partner, have been awarded a new joint contract. Nozzle and spray system manufacturer Lechler relies on Heiler's Enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) software as a master data platform and a product central to E-Commerce with Intershop and Multichannel distribution.

Lechler manufactures some 25,000 products, including more than 3,000 standard products, in Germany, the US, England, Hungary, India and China. It is Lechler's intention to improve data quality using the Product Information Management solution (PIM). CEO Walter H. Lechler is convinced that "successful E-Commerce requires perfect product data".

For this purpose, product data will be transferred from the ERP system, as well as from the Excel and CAD programs, and will be automatically harmonized in the future. This means that Heiler's Product Manager forms the basis for Multichannel distribution within the Lechler company. In addition to customized electronic catalogs in BMEcat or XML format, the online shop is also directly connected to the system. The standard interface connecting Heiler to the Enfinity Suite Intershop ensures up-to-date and synchronized product data within the E-Business.
