Manufacturer of cutting tools optimizes print catalogs and generates
customer specific e-catalogs

Detroit - Valenite LLC, one of the largest manufacturers of cutting tools worldwide, has selected the Heiler PPM Premium Product Manager solution suite to manage its product information and automate the creation of its print catalogs and customer specific e-catalogs.

Valenite is a division of The Sandvik Group, a high technology engineering group with advanced products and a world-leading position within selected areas. Worldwide business activities are conducted in 130 countries.

With over 10 families of products, thousands of customers on a global basis spanning several languages and an ever growing range of products, Valenite is continuously being asked by customers for better and faster access to high quality product information. This has led to the need to produce several printed catalogs and even more catalog supplements. In addition, many of Valenites distributors request product data in various electronic formats in order to power their own websites and printed materials.
