OTTO FUCHS METALLWERKE applies Premium Business Catalog of Heiler in E-Procurement

For a new procurement solution OTTO FUCHS METALLWERKE has decided to go for the Premium Business Catalog of Heiler Software AG and its complex service concept.

Stuttgart, 23. Januar 2002 – Heiler Software AG consolidates its position in the automotive sector: OTTO FUCHS METALLWERKE, one of Germany’s big automotive subcontractors, applies the catalog solution Premium Business Catalog of Heiler for their new e-procurement system. OTTO FUCHS has not just been convinced by the seamless integration with the SAP system, but above all by the extensive service offer by Heiler.

With approximately 7,000 employees world-wide and an annual turnover of about 1.5 billion euros, the syndicate OTTO FUCHS belongs to one of the biggest medium-sized companies. In future OTTO FUCHS METALLWERKE will optimize its entire procurement system with the e-procurement solution of SAP at its two German locations. Its central component will be the catalog solution of Heiler Software AG.

With the aid of the Premium Business Catalog (PBC) of Heiler, approximately 250 users of OTTO FUCHS will be able to access an unlimited number of articles of an arbitrary number of suppliers. The users at OTTO FUCHS METALLWERKE can directly place their orders to the PBC, which are then automatically further processed in the Enterprise Buyer Professional (EBP), the e-procurement solution of SAP. Thus it is possible to strongly accelerate the whole procurement process. With an extensive service package Heiler Software AG realizes the implementation of the respective suppliers' catalogs – the "suppliers' enabling" – at OTTO FUCHS.
